THREE HOQUIAM TEENS ARRESTED FOR WII THEFT

February 18, 2011

Three Hoquiam teens were arrested on Thursday after allegedly breaking into a home and making off with a Nintendo Wii. Deputy Chief Jim Maloney says at around 3:00 yesterday, the daughter of a woman living on Washington Street arrived home to find that someone had forced open the rear door of the house and taken the gaming system. Using a description of the suspects provided by a neighbor, the daughter was able to tell officers who she thought the culprits might be. A short time later, officers arrested 15, 16 and 17 year old teenage boys for Residential Burglary and recovered the Wii. Maloney says the 15 year old will also face charges for a warrant for Vehicle Theft.
