ABERDEEN STUDENT HIT BY VEHICLE

A vehicle vs. pedestrian collision Friday morning sent an Aberdeen High School student to the hospital. Aberdeen Police tell KXRO that a student was hit this morning as he crossed the street at the corner of F and 2nd Streets in Aberdeen near Aberdeen High School. The driver of the vehicle was a 51-year-old Aberdeen man who said he did not see the student due to frost on his window that had not defrosted yet.

The student suffered minor injuries and was driven to the hospital by a family member. The driver was cited with Obstructed Vision and Failure to Yield to a Pedestrian.
