Pacific County man increases his jail time by forgetting to leave his drugs at home
June 5, 2012
An Ocean Park man turned himself into Pacific County Jail to serve a court ordered sentence, but will leave with another fine. 41 year old Robin Taylor reported to the facility on Monday on his own recognizance and was checked into the jail as standard procedure.
Pacific County Chief Criminal Deputy Pat Matlock tells KXRO that when corrections officers searched the man’s belongings they found a baggy of “green leafy vegetable matter” that was found to be marijuana. Pacific County Sheriff’s deputies were then called in to assist.
Taylor was allowed into the jail to serve out his commitment and was also cited for Possession of Marijuana.
