Free CERT Training begins tonight

Free CERT, or Community Emergency Response Training, begins tonight from 5-9pm at Grays Harbor College, Building 1500 room 1512.

CERTs are formed by members of a neighborhood or workplace, who want to be better prepared for the hazards that threaten their communities.

This course is rarely offered and trains participants in basic disaster response skills, such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations. All training is open to individuals and to groups.

The additional class dates are Saturday June 9th from 8am -5pm and on Saturday June 16 from 8am to 5pm. All are welcome to attend the FREE 20 hour class.
