Motorcycle accident on 101 sends man and woman to hospital

Charges are pending after a motorcycle accident on Highway 101 on Wednesday after a woman was ejected. A man and woman from Hoquiam were on SR101 near theDeKay Roadwhen the vehicles in front of them began to slow down. As the 35 year old man attempted to stop as they approached traffic when the man lost control. The 2005 Buell was laid down on its side and slid into the opposite lane, his female passenger was ejected. The Washington State Patrol says that drugs or alcohol may have been involved in this accident.
The 36 year old woman passenger was ejected from the motorcycle and both riders were sent toGrays HarborCommunityHospital. Both were wearing helmets. The accident is still under investigation.
