Myrtle Street between Simpson and Sumner closed for repair

Scott Olson with the Aberdeen Street Department tells KXRO that Myrtle Street from Simpson to Sumner will be closed today to all traffic. The department will be grinding the old pavement and repaving.

The street closure is expected to last until the early afternoon. The complete closure allows crews to finish work on the block in the shortest time possible.

Businesses located within that block will still be accessible through the alley.
