PUD Commissioners authorize sale of turbine at paper mill
July 10, 2012
The Grays Harbor PUD Commissioners passed a resolution on Monday to declare property and equipment directly related to the Harbor Paper mill as surplus and to authorize its sale.
The PUD Commissioners took an executive session to talk about the resolution before authorizing the sale of the turbine generator located at the former Grays Harbor Paper facility for the total of $500,040 and Commissioner Russ Skolrood says it the best deal for ratepayers and will hopefully lead to the opening of a new business.
Commissioner Tom Casey recognized numerous people for the work that has been done on this project.
There is a court date regarding the sale of the paper mill this Thursday at 8:30 am at the Grays Harbor County Courthouse in Montesano
