Humptulips man dies after dirt bike accident

A 37 year old Humptulips man died on Thursday in a crash north of Hoquiam. Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Deputies along with Hoquiam Police Officers responded to Walker Road on Thursday evening following the crash. Chief Criminal Deputy Dave Pimentel says that the man was riding a dirt bike on the road when he swerved to avoid a family dog and flipped the bike.

The Hoquiam Fire Department attempted to perform medical assistance, but the man died of his injuries on scene.

He was not wearing a helmet.
