**UPDATE**Elderly couple missing from Copalis Crossing

The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Department is reporting an elderly couple has been reported missing from Copalis Crossing.  The couple had asked a firefighter in the area for assistance getting home on Wednesday. They do live in the area. The couple, 83 year old Roy and 80 year old Bonnie Buchanan, were possibly seen in Hoquiam Thursday night around 6pm.

The family said that the couple have a history of dementia and have become disorientated before and needed assistance to return home. Roy Buchanan was lost in the Lacey area recently and needed assistance.

**UPDATE**

Thanks to help from the public, the couple was found safe.
