Court this afternoon for 16 year old homicide suspect
The 2nd court date for the Hoquiam boy accused of fatally stabbing 22 year old Jon Favro is this afternoon. 16 year old Teddy Bryan was charged with second-degree murder as an adult earlier this month and bail was set at $500,000.
The teen is accused of stabbing Favro early July 14 in Hoquiam after an argument about the 20 year old girlfriend of Bryan. According to Hoquiam Police, Favro was parked with the girl when the 16 year old allegedly struck him several times in the face with his fist and then proceeded to stab him once in the chest and the lower thigh.
Favro drove away before hitting a embankment on Bay Avenue and fleeing to an alley between Bay and Pacific Avenues where he died from his injuries.
The 16 year old then allegedly returned to his girlfriend’s apartment and rinsed off the knife and changed his clothing which he later planned to discard. When officers found him, he admitted to stabbing Favro.
The investigation is ongoing.
