Art Pocklington Central Play Park Playground ribbon cutting today at 4

The Art Pocklington Central Play Park Playground Ribbon Cutting in Hoquiam is Thursday at 4pm at the park.

City of Hoquiam says that the park redevelopment project isn’t quite done, but they invite the public to see the progress as new playground equipment was recently installed. Also at the ribbon cutting, they will break ground on the new spray park to be built at the location.

Partial funding for the new park was included into the state construction budget in May of 2011 by the House of Representatives, but the City is still accepting donations from the community towards construction of the spray park. Information on how to donate will be available at the event.
