Level 2 sex offender moving to Hoquiam

The Hoquiam Police Department says that a Level 2 sex offender will be moving into the 2500 block of Cherry Street in Hoquiam. 27 year old Ryan O. Lessley was convicted in June of 2000 in Coos Bay, OR of Sexual Abuse in the First Degree as a juvenile.

Lessley had previously been registered as living in South Aberdeen.

According to Hoquiam Police, of the approximately 400 sex offenders registered to Grays Harbor, 30 are registered within the Hoquiam city limits.

Lessley is not wanted by the police at this time. The state is authorized to inform the public of an offender’s release when that information will enhance public safety and protection.
