Ocean Shores stabbing suspect identified

The suspect in the Tuesday stabbing attack of a 31 year old Ocean Shores resident has been identified as 23 year old James Lemar Griffin.

Griffin is described as a black male, 6’2” tall and weighing 225 pounds. An arrest warrant for Assault 1st Degree has been issued.

The victim indicated that a man knocked on his trailer door and when he opened it the suspect sprayed a chemical in his face and cut his throat. The suspect then fled and the victim went into a home on the same lot and the owner contacted the police while helping to stop the bleeding.

The victim of the attack has been released from Harborview.
