**UPDATED**National Night Out Against Crime locations

August 6, 2012

On Tuesday, August 7 neighborhoods throughout Grays Harbor will join thousands of communities nationwide for the “29th Annual National Night Out” against crime.

National Night Out involves over 15,000 communities from all 50 states. Last year, over 36 million people participated.

“Night Out” is a national Crime Prevention event designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, increase neighborhood support in anti-crime efforts, and unite our communities. It is a great chance to learn about crime prevention, while also celebrating your community and spending time with your neighbors. Public Officials, Police Officers, CRIME WATCH volunteers and Firefighters from your local community will be stopping to visit with neighbors and to talk about crime prevention and general safety tips.

For more information, contact your local police or fire department, or city hall.
