2 more pontoons move through Ballard Locks

Two more floating bridge pontoons arrived in Seattle this weekend, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

At 98 feet long and 60 feet wide, these two pontoons are much smaller than the massive Pontoon V that was floated through the locks on Aug. 11. Once connected, these pontoons will support Pontoon V, providing additional stability for the new bridge.
