Coastal Community Action Program receives free medication help

As millions of Americans strive to deal with the rising cost of prescription drug cost, American Consultants Rx, announced the re-release of their community service project which consists of millions of free discount prescription cards. Locally, cards will be released to the Coastal Community Action Program. The discount prescription cards are to be given free to anyone in need of help curbing the high cost of prescription drugs.

The program has donated over 25 million cards across the country since 2004. Any one can use these cards but ACRX is focusing on those who are uninsured, underinsured, or on Medicare.
