PUD cancels Montesano power outage

The Grays Harbor PUD have changed their plans for the replacement of 100 foot poles spanning Highway 12 which allows the work to take place without disruption of power to customers in the area south of Montesano. The PUD announced a planned outage scheduled for August 30 to replace the poles, but cancelled it yesterday after they found a way to conduct the installation without the outage.

The outage originally was to impact about 300 customers along Highway 107 and 101 south of Montesano as well as a few business customers located in Montesano. It had been planned to begin at 8am on August 30, 2012.
