State grant funds Elk River public access boat launch
The Washington State Department of Natural Resources will host a community meeting at 6:30 p.m. on September 11 to review design concepts providing water access for hand-launched and small, trailered boats in Beardslee Slough at Elk River.
The meeting will be held at the Westport Maritime Museum.
Initial funding comes from a Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office grant funded by the 2011 Washington Legislature.
