Simpson Avenue Bridge Down to One Lane

A series of unfortunate events happened at the Simpson Avenue Bridge in Hoquiam that has led to one lane being closed on the bridge likely till the mid afternoon.

Hoquiam Police says an unidentified truck hit the side of the bridge breaking the faring then following that a chip truck hit the broken faring.

 The Washington Department of Transportation says that a bridge crew is on route but the bridge will likely be one lane till mid afternoon.

On top of that another accident happened right before the bridge which is further backing up traffic.
