Hospital went under brief lockdown after man breaks door handle
September 19, 2012
The Grays Harbor Community Hospital went into a brief lockdown this morning after a man broke a door handle and walked out. The suspect was taken to the hospital by Aberdeen Police officers for a mental evaluation after he was found sitting on the railing of the Chehalis River Bridge Tuesday night.
This morning the 29 year old man allegedly broke a handle off of a door in the facility and walked off of the campus and down the hill. Officers were called and arrested the man and transported him to the Aberdeen City Jail.
The hospital went under a brief lockdown as a part of their protocol.
