Level 3 Registered Sex Offender moving to West Wishkah St in Aberdeen

The Aberdeen Police Department is informing the public of a Registered Sex Offender moving into the 400 Block of West Wishkah Street.

20 year old Stephen C. Payne was convicted in 2006 in Pierce County Juvenile Court for Child Molestation First Degree.

Payne has been classified as a Level 3 Sex Offender with a High Risk to re-offend.

According to Aberdeen Police, there are approximately 400 sex offenders registered to Grays Harbor, and 100 within the city limits of Aberdeen.

The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Office speaking with KXRO says that level of sex offenders locally is not significantly higher than either the state nor the national average.
