Public forum scheduled to discuss Initiatives and Referendums

The League of Women Voters of Grays Harbor invites the public to Elma High School on Monday, October 8th at 7:00 pm to ask questions about various Initiatives and Referendums that will be offered to the voters this election season.

Initiative 1185 Concerning Taxes, Initiative 1240 Concerning Charter Schools, Initiative 502 Concerning Marijuana, and Referendum 74 Concerning Same Sex Marriage, will be discussed by representatives from both sides of each issue.

The event is free and open to the public. The Initiative Forum will be moderated by Dr Ed Brewster, President of Grays Harbor College. Voter registration will also be available.
