WSDOT truck hit by driver on SR101

A Washington State Department of Transportation truck was struck on SR 101 in Pacific County on Wednesday. A 42 year old Long Beach man was driving on 101 passing a DOT construction zone when the accident occurred.

According to Washington State Patrol, the man was passing the DOT truck, which was partially blocking the northbound lane, when he struck the mirror of the truck.

Neither of the drivers was injured in the accident, and both trucks were able to be driven from the scene. The man was cited with Failure to Yield to a Road Crew.
