Drug Task Force arrests one, searching for another, after month long investigation

October 23, 2012

The Grays Harbor Drug Task Force served search warrants recently in a month long investigation of narcotics and stolen firearms. The Task Force, along with Aberdeen and Hoquiam Police Departments, served search warrants in Aberdeen and Central Park.

The suspects have extensive criminal histories and were known to carry firearms, and due to this they arrested the 40 year old Aberdeen man away from his current residence. He was arrested with a substantial amount of crystal methamphetamine and heroin, as well as firearms.

Following the arrest, the search warrants were served on a home in East Aberdeen and a business in Central Park, as well as 2 vehicles. During the investigation a significant amount of narcotics, cash, and 2 handguns were seized.

A source told KXRO that the suspects are connected with a series of recent drug related crimes in the area.

The Aberdeen man is currently being held in Aberdeen City Jail on unrelated warrants pending transfer to Grays Harbor County Jail for the new charges.

The 33 year old female suspect is still at large, and a felony warrant has been issued for her arrest.
