Grays Harbor unemployment drops, yet still tops the state

Unemployment numbers throughout Grays Harbor dropped almost an entire point in September, but is still tied for the highest number in the state. Grays Harbor dropped from 12.8% in August, but along with Ferry County we are tied with 12% for September.

A statewide drop in unemployment numbers as well, as the addition of new Harbor Paper jobs, coincides with the drop in numbers locally.

Pacific County dropped from 11% in August, to 10.6% in September.
