Hoquiam looks back at Great Shake Out

October 23, 2012

The Great Washington Shake Out took place last Thursday and the City of Hoquiam learned from their response to the drill.

Hoquiam Police Chief Jeff Myers had great things to say about the drill and the cities action during it but he also said they learned some lessons in the process. He said that organizing a comprehensive route for all agencies would assist the city in the event of a real emergency.

The Great Shake Out took place state wide and businesses and agencies throughout both Grays Harbor and Pacific counties took part in the drill.
