Fire on Scammel Hill in Aberdeen

The Aberdeen Fire Department responded to a basement fire on 6th St in Aberdeen Wednesday morning.

Battalion Chief Damon Lillybridge said that crews have the fire “mostly knocked down” early on in the response. Aberdeen Police officers were on hand to assist with the traffic concerns.

There was no report of injuries.
