December 7, 2012
Tonight in Montesano, the 26th annual Festival of Lights is set to begin. This year, the theme is Dr. Seuss’ a Monteville Christmas. Starting tonight, there will be events throughout the city highlighting the season and local nonprofits.
The weekend all leads up to the Festival of Lights Grand Parade on Saturday night starting at 6pm, with Grand Marshal Jack Thomas.
Throughout the weekend there will be students out in the community for the 2012 Food Bowl Competition between Montesano and Elma. Students have until December 11 to collect cash or non perishable food for residents in Grays Harbor.
