Air Stagnation Advisory in Effect for Grays Harbor

January 18, 2013

The National Weather Service in Seattle says that an Air Stagnation Advisory remains in effect as light winds and low temperatures will trap pollutants such as wood smoke and vehicle emissions near the surface.

Although not currently under a burn ban within the county, the Olympic Region Clean Air Agency ask that residents avoid any outdoor burning until the advisory is lifted to prevent additional low level pollutants.
