Thousands Worth of Music Equipment Stolen from Hoquiam

On Wednesday, Hoquiam Officers responded to a home in the 400 block of Karr Avenue for a report of a burglary.

An outbuilding on the property used as a studio was broken into after the burglars removed an air duct near the front door to unlock it. Several expensive items were stolen, including several vintage Gibson electric guitars, amplifiers, music mixing equipment, MacBook Pro laptop computer, coins, jewelry, chronograph watch and digital cameras with specialty camera accessories.

The total loss is estimated to be several thousands of dollars.
