Harbor Paper Announces Partnership with Canadian Mill

Harbor Paper announced to employees on Thursday that they are entering a new partnership between the company and AT Clayton, a Marubeni company. AT Clayton will supply pulp to Harbor Paper from the Marubeni Peace River mill in Alberta, Canada. The pulp will be supplied under a long term contract.
AT Clayton will also be responsible for the sales and marketing of 100% of the production output from the mill and Harbor Paper will continue to manufacture environmentally friendly products made from 100% renewable energy.
The mill is scheduled to restart the week of April 15th, saying that they will re-emerge as “a stronger company with a long-term strategic ability to compete in this global environment.”
