Fully Involved Truck Fire in Aberdeen This Morning

The Aberdeen Fire Department responded to a truck fire this morning.
Crews were called to the 300 block of East 3rd Street just before 5am to find the 1989 full size Chevy pickup fully involved. No structures were threatened.
Aberdeen Fire Battalion Chief Troy Palmer says that nobody was in the vehicle at the time. The fire was extinguished in approximately 5 minutes.
The truck is considered a total loss with an estimated value of $2000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
