Stewart Blvd partially reopened to traffic

The City of Aberdeen have reopened one lane on Stewart Blvd. The road was closed following work to remove a house that fell from the hillside.

Scott Olson with the City of Aberdeen told KXRO that crews working on the house were able to remove the structure, but during the work, the roadway slipped out from under equipment.

For safety reasons, the road had to be closed until crews can assess the damage.

The road will remain open to one lane until repairs can be completed.
