Grays Harbor retail marijuana store licences announced today
Today, the Washington State Liquor Control Board tells KXRO that they will announce the local winners of the lottery to find which 6 retail stores will be allowed to open in Grays Harbor.
Josh Miller of the The 3-M’s Of Grays Harbor told KXRO that their business, located just outside of Elma on Schouweiler Road, was drawn as one of the 3 businesses to be selected from the retail lottery for Grays Harbor County land.
“WE WON now all we have to do is get up to compliance with the State”, said Miller.
Grays Harbor is allowed 6 retail locations total; 1 in Aberdeen, 1 in Hoquiam, 1 in Ocean Shores, and 3 others in other areas. Only 2 stores are allowed in Pacific County.
A full list of approved applications will be announced today.
Despite winning the lottery, applicants are still required to pass a background check, financial investigation and other requirements before any licenses are issued.
The agency expects to begin issuing retail licenses no later than the first week of July.
