February 21, 2012

Aberdeen High School has named Terry Dion as new High School Football Coach. He will take the reigns from Ron Clark who resigned in December.

Dion’s official appointment is scheduled for tonight’s Aberdeen School Board meeting.

Originally from Shelton, 54 year-old Dion was drafted in the 1980 NFL Draft to the Seattle Seahawks in the 4th round. He played less than 1 season for Seattle. He previously coached with the Pierce County Bengals and Shelton High School.

Dion will also serve as Assistant Coach to the Aberdeen Track team.
