Local agencies do their part to bring back Jack Rottle Field
Grays Harbor County Fair, Events and Tourism and the Grays Harbor PUD are doing their parts to help get Montesano back to playing games at Jack Rottle Field.
Montesano Superintendant Dan Winter came to the PUD and asked for poles for to replace two that were damaged in the fire that burned the grand stands at Jack Rottle Stadium. Winter said the main thing that they wanted was for the poles to be replaced in time for games.
The PUD agreed to only charge for the cost of the materials and ask for volunteer work for the labor. The Grays Harbor County Department of Fair, Events and Tourism is doing the their part as well by loaning bleachers to the school district for the use at the field.
