Summit Pacific Ribbon Cutting Today

January 25, 2013

The ribbon cutting for the new Summit Pacific Medical Center is today at 10am.

Residents are invited to come and celebrate the completion of the new medical center replacing Mark Reed Hospital when it officially opens for business next month.

The brand new facility is over four times the size of Mark Reed in McCleary and will feature a ten bed Emergency Department; a ten bed In-Patient Wing; a full service laboratory; and an expanded Diagnostic Imaging Department.

CEO Renee Jensen said “We are so excited to be able to finally invite the community to view and tour their new medical center”

The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin off at 10:00am featuring Congressman Derek Kilmer as a featured speaker along with several other speakers from the community.

The Grays Harbor County Public Hospital District saw the start of construction in the Fall of 2011 after receiving a $21.1 million USDA Rural Development Loan the previous year.
