Pacific County Fire Sends Residents to Hospital
Pacific County Firefighters responded to a home fire this week that took thousands of gallons of water and hours to fight.
Crews were sent to the home around 8pm and found the single-family residence well-involved in fire.
It took over three hours to extinguish the fire, due to the large fire load in the home, and its location in an area with no hydrants. Approximately 10,000 gallons of water were used to fight the blaze.
The two residents of the home were transported by ambulance to Ocean Beach Hospital for evaluation.
The home and contents are considered a total loss.
