High temperature records broken in Hoquiam

Hoquiam hit record highs over the weekend.

The National Weather Service in Seattle reports that Hoquiam hit the record both days.

On Saturday, Hoquiam was recorded at 83 degrees. The previous high was 78 degrees in 1990. On Sunday, Northwest Cable News reported that Hoquiam hit the high again with 87 degrees.

The Aberdeen Parks and Recreation department opened the Finch Playfield Spray Park for the season on Friday when weather began to warm up. The park will be open from 11am until 7pm everyday.
