Dispute Resolution Center looking for funding
The Grays Harbor County Commissioners heard a presentation from the Dispute Resolution Center on a program that is centered on helping juvenile delinquents.
Dispute Resolution Center Program Director Debbie Elmore spoke to the commissioners and said their work, using mediation to help troubled teens and their parents understand each other, has a high percentage of success and they are looking for funding for that to continue.
The Center is asking for $24,000 per year to keep the program funded.
The program has recommendations from Grays Harbor Superior Court Judge David Edwards and Grays Harbor County Juvenile Court Administrator Greg Reynvaan.
