Assistance for local veterans in Grays Harbor

July 26, 2013

The Department of Veterans Affairs’ Tacoma Vet Center will be sending a Mobile Outreach Team to Aberdeen on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to provide counseling services to local Veterans and their families.

The team will be in the Worksource Grays Harbor parking lot at 511 West Heron in Aberdeen. Veterans can make an appointment by calling (253) 565-7038 or can show up without an appointment for walk-in services.

The VA Mobile Outreach Teams are a way to increase access to counseling services for Veterans and their families in rural communities across the country. If you are a veteran or active duty member who has served in a combat zone, you may be eligible for free counseling. VA benefits and referrals are available to all qualifying veterans regardless of combat service status.

For more information on services visit http://www.vetcenter.va.gov. For more information on this event, please contact Brandon Jones, Jason Scott, or Mark Buckler at (253) 565-7038.
