Fire Station 82 burglarized again
The Grays Harbor Sheriff’s office says that Fire Station 82 was burglarized, again.
Deputies were dispatched after a volunteer fire fighter discovered a number of items were taken from the building.
Deputies learned that the suspects appeared to have driven a vehicle into the metal garage door of the building, but no vehicles were on scene. Due to the extent of damage, and the number of items that had been stolen, detectives were also called to the scene.
Items stolen include: tools, flashlights, bolt cutters, and firefighter gear including several sets of breathing apparatus’. Unfortunately the damage to the door and the missing tools has forced this station to close at this time.
Part of Grays Harbor Fire District # 16, the building was broken into just over a year ago. The suspects in that case were eventually caught with the help of citizens.
Anyone with information on this last burglary is asked to call the Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department at 360-249-3711 or the dispatch center at 360-532-8765.
