Habitat for Humanity looking for donations, but not like this

November 12, 2013

The Habitat for Humanity of Grays Harbor is looking for the owner of some exercise equipment.

According to the local nonprofit, the equipment was left outside the new location of the Habitat Store of Grays Harbor on Simpson Avenue.

According to their Facebook page, “This is not the proper way to make a donation to Habitat for Humanity. Dumping your trash in our parking lot in the dead of the night constitutes illegal dumping.”

The store said that they welcome donations at their new store during business hours, but the items must be inspected and approved first.

They are asking local residents to assist in finding the owners of the items left in their parking lot, asking the owner or anyone with information to call the store at 360-612-3350.
