Kettle Klash raises over $31,000.00
The 10th Annual Salvation Army Kettle Klash was today and over $31,000.00 was raised in five minutes this afternoon. This beats last years total of over $20,000.
Bob Woodcocks ‘Grays Harbor Forest Products’ team raised the most amount of money at over $14,000. This is the second year in a row that Grays Harbor Forest Products has won the kettle trophy. The kickoff raises about half the money needed during the holiday season.
The red kettles have been out for two weeks and they will be out until Christmas Eve taking in donations for the Salvation Army who serve more than 20,000 people each year in Grays Harbor.
