Merry Christmas from Grays Harbor Radio
This year, Christmas for Kids received a generous donation of a one of a kind handcrafted rocking truck to our offices from an anonymous Grays Harbor Woodworker. In order to make sure that this unique gift went to a special child, we asked residents to send in nominations.
After looking through all of our nominations, staff at Grays Harbor Radio chose to give this truck to 1 ½ year old Finnian (Finn) Tobin of Hoquiam.
According to nominations from friends and family, Finn’s mother Bekah is an Iraqi War Air Force Veteran on disability and a current college student, raising Finn on her own. According to “Grama”, Finn’s first words were “bbbbig ttrrruck, tttractor, and moma”
According to a friend of Bekah’s, Finn was born with multiple allergies and is required to be regularly hooked to a breathing machine.
Grays Harbor Radio would like to thank Grays Harbor Fine Woodworking Guild, Christmas for Kids, and all of the generous local residents who donated toys and nominated deserving families to receive them.
