Humptulips man arrested after firing gun in home

A Humptulips man was arrested this morning after firing a gun inside his house.

Just after midnight, Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Deputies were called to the home on Forbes Lane. A woman told dispatch that her 59 year old husband was firing the gun off inside the home with their children and grandchildren inside.

When deputies arrived, the man had left the home and the family was taken to safety. When the man returned, he was arrested on charges of Domestic Violence Assault 2nd, Reckless Endangerment, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Resisting Arrest.

None of the family members were physically injured.
