Retired Raymond firefighter Gene Dennett has died

The Raymond Fire Department announced that Retired Firefighter Gene Dennett has died. A member of the department for over 35 years, Dennett served as a paid firefighter before going to work for Pacific County Public Works.

According to a post on their official Facebook page, Dennett was very active up until his retirement as Volunteer Assistant Chief.

RFD Stated, “The firefighting family tradition carried on with his son Jeff, who was a resident firefighter and also his Son in Law, Capt. Darren Manlow. Our thoughts and prayers are with Gene’s Family.”
