Raymond man arrested for selling meth to minor

January 15, 2014

Deputies with the Pacific County Drug Task Force served a 2nd narcotics search warrant this month, this time on a home in the 600 block of Plum Street in Raymond.

The Pacific County Sheriff’s Office and Raymond and South Bend police departments arrested 51 year old Kenneth Taylor of Raymond in the investigation.

The search warrant was granted after a Raymond Police officer received information that Taylor had sold drugs to a Pacific County girl. The officer had arrested the juvenile on an outstanding warrant and learned that she had gotten methamphetamine from Taylor. The officer contacted the Pacific County Drug Task Force and during the warrant, investigators located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Taylor was booked into the Pacific County Jail on one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver and one count of distributing narcotics to a person under the age of 18.

Taylor’s bail was set at $250,000.
