Accident on 101 sends 63 year old woman to the hospital
A 63 year old South Bend woman was sent to the hospital this morning after she drove into a Jersey barrier.
Just before 8 am this morning, the South Bend woman was driving north on SR 101, 5 miles outside of Aberdeen. As she was driving, she lost control of her 1993 Jeep Cherokee, striking the Jersey barrier on her passenger side.
The right lane was closed for 30 minutes as crews towed the vehicle.
The woman was taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital following the accident for her injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
