Shooting in Aberdeen sends man to the hospital

Aberdeen Police are investigating after a man was shot while walking.

On Saturday morning, Officers were called to the report of a shooting. A 29 year old Aberdeen man said that while he was walking in the 2000 block of Simpson Avenue, he heard a “pop” sound and realized that he had been shot. He said that when looked around, he did not see anybody in the area.

The man was transported to the Grays Harbor Community Hospital and treated for his injury.
